Are there ANY good Wayne’s World Video games? Turns out there isn’t.

You’re a really tight editor, Roses. This video is solid. Awesome job.
I really enjoyed the video – you are a great editor, and a brilliant host! However – do you, per chance, believe that the lizard king might be a reference to Jim Morrison? It’s a far stretch, I know, but still…
“Why is there a Lizard King?” The Lizard King is a reference to Jim Morrison, who, in reality, was a giant mutated lizard. Learn your history, Roses.
I’m guessing Wayne’s World for SNES is not in the future then? haha
Wow, just wow. That is mind blowing. How could that they screw that up? Very nice video indeed. You are becoming one of my favorites to watch now. You are producing excellent videos, if I do say so myself. No flaws at all. I love 2nd Look! Great new series. Keep it up! I’ll be watching out for them. Did I also mention that you look amazing in the video? Such a hottie you are. 😉
Thank you! I do my best.
solid editing and desolves–game looks a lil meh; good review
I’m not sure, because I couldn’t find the month this game was released, but I think it came out BEFORE Wayne’s World 2, so I don’t think there is a connection. 😉
Honestly, I don’t even know if that’s a lizard or not. I just called it that because it sort of looked like one? I guess it could also be a giant gecko.
i agree completely, definitely not worth a second look, but video game adaptations of popular movies are rarely any good, and this was yet again, another example, but then again, maybe there is a good one out there that were not aware of AVGN did a review of Back to the Future games, and realized, all the ones we got here in the states sucked, but the one released for the Famicom in Japan was actually really good, maybe that’s the case here, there’s a good Wayne’s World game out there, in some other bloody country, anyway, great review Roses, I’m already looking forward to the next one ^_^
Shortly after five minutes in: “You schmutz?” That’s not even using the term right! DAMN YOU, WAYNE’S WORLD FOR THE PC!
When I saw that Lizard King thing (probably a Jim Morrison reference), I thought to myself, “OK, did we just go from Wayne’s World to Bill and Ted?!” Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE those movies, but I mean REALLY!! Speaking of which, is the Bill and Ted adventure game on the 2nd Look list?
Either way, I bet they could make $50,000 if they sold him to science.
Excellent review, crappy game.
Very well done once again. It really seems that you are finding your new (and improved) style quite nicely. The review itself was succinct and to the point, and the effects (like “And so on”), while fairly simple and short, do add a lot of flair.
I would also like to give some constructive criticism, but that will have to be done by someone savvier than me, since I didn’t find anything really negative.
I just wanted to tell you that you are the real deal. You know your stuff, your gaming knowledge blows me and a lot of people out of the water, and you’re funny. The editing on this video was tight. Mind if I use it for inspiration for my own video projects?
Thank you very much!
I don’t think it’s actually called a lizard king, I just called it that because it’s what he looked like to me. This came out before Wayne’s World 2, so it’s likely not a Jim Morrison reference. And yes, Bill and Ted is on the list! Lazy Game Reviews tackles decent games, so I tackle the less decent ones.
Thank you. I got some suggestions on youtube from a few other people, so I have those to think about. =)
I don’t know who dame edna is, but I got most of the jokes you used. Loved all the homages to waynes world, Roses! Nice to see that even though you disliked the game, you still love waynes world.
Oh God I actually finished this game when i was a kid! The horror! The horror! I finished without a walkthrough, I seriously need to get out more. Please also ignore the dark half made by capstone… they defiled a very good book. has the same “engine” as Waynes world *shudder*
Glad I skipped that one…
A good Point and Click licenced game is Beavis & Butthead: Virtual Stupidity. If you can find it, check it out. It captures the show perfectly.
Wow, such an odd coincidence you commented with this today. I JUST put up my review on that game.
The Dark Half, you say?…. Hrmmmmm…. 😉
