Well, well, well. You’ve found my about page, aren’t you lucky? Unfortunately, about pages are about as boring as…well…something boring. So I will try to keep things brief.
My real name is Sarah, but I do go by PushingUpRoses the internet. Variants may apply (Rosie, Roses, PUR, SexyMcSexington, etc).
I majored in everything. Seriously, if a major exists, I probably studied it at some point. I was very indecisive all throughout college, spending a lot of time as a fiction writing major and the other part as an illustration major, but eventually settled down with an Office Systems and Applications major. (To put it in layman’s terms, computer crud.)
This website is basically a personal blog (as if there are not enough of those going around the internet) showcasing my random thoughts and random art work. I love documenting my personal struggles, joys, and randomness with the world. I initially started the website when I picked a web design concentration to complement my major; I really just thought it’d be a good way of practicing my coding. I shared it with some people, and to my surprise, people showed interest in me, so I make it a habit to update my site regularly. Even though I didn’t make a career from my fiction writing days, I am still a story teller through and through, and still enjoy doodling every now and then.
I am a huge gamer, bookworm, artist, singer, and all around dork. I like all things geeky, and I like finding other geeks to be a geek with. (If I say geek one more time in any sentence, smack me.)
I am the biggest Monkees and Hall and Oates fan in the world.
I will eat poptarts boxes at a time.
I love stripes.
My favorite movie is also my favorite board game.
Music is my oxygen.
