PushingUpRoses is the result of a troubled, rebellious fiend of a teenager turned quasi-responsible adult. She is a recovering goth, gaming enthusiast, writer, music lover, Monkees and Hall and Oates fanatic, computer nut, and lover of math. In her spare time, she spends tedious hours replaying old adventure games that very few people care about. Sometimes she writes and illustrates for her blog, but not very often. She is also a Let’s Player and Internet Personality on the popular online-media website That Guy With the Glasses. She likes to think her work is entertaining.
Her favorite games include the King’s Quest and Space Quest series, Phantasmagoria, Commander Keen 4, Leisure Suit Larry 7, and Cosmic Spacehead. Except Cosmic Spacehead is kind of a bitch, so she isn’t sure why she listed that one.
“Roses” currently resides in Chicago, IL, with one room mate. She does not own any pets, due to the “incident.” She currently attends college outside the Chicago area, and is pretty confident she will never graduate, but enjoys the learning experience.
